The Key To The Kingdom - An Enchanted Deck (Aces)

At a tarot meet up that I went to recently, I purchased this delightful playing card deck. Info about the deck can be seen here. After looking through it, I thought I'd try to use it as an oracle deck in which I made up my own meanings based on the picture and the accompanying poem in the book that came with it. Here are the Aces with the poem that goes with them, and my own meanings. :)

Ace of Hearts

I'm a little butterfly
Born in a bower,
Christened in a teapot,
Died in half an hour.

-A beautiful, destined love affair that is brief.

Ace of Clubs

Bat, bat,
Come under my hat,
And I'll give you a slice of bacon;
And when I bake, I'll give you a cake,
If I'm not mistaken.

-Show kindness, graciousness, and generosity to visitors.

Ace of Spades

If you want to live and thrive
Let a spider run alive.

-Live life to the fullest right now.

Ace of Diamonds

Yellow the bracken,
Golden the sheaves,
Rosy the apples,
Crimson the leaves;
Mist on the hillside,
Clouds grey and white.
Autumn, good morning!
Summer, good night.

-The time has come to shed old burdens and conserve your energy.
