Pixie's Astounding Mlle Lenormand Cards

A 36 card Lenormand deck which showcases Pamela Colman Smith's artwork.
Self-published by Edmund Zebrowski

Curious about the differences between the first and second editions of this lovely Lenormand deck? Let's discuss! In all the above and below pictures, the first edition is on the left and the second edition is on the right. Red card backs and muted colors identify the first edition. Blue card backs and richer, fully saturated colors are the hallmarks of the second edition. What's not apparent in the photos is the difference in the card stock. They're the same thickness, but the finish on the first edition has a matte, linen-like feel, and the second edition is more glossy and smooth.

There were a few card image changes as well. The Lady and the Gentleman are different.

The Star and the Tower cards have been changed.

And finally, the Letter and the Ring.

I absolutely love both editions, and I'm truly honored to have them. Great decks to transition from tarot to Lenormand, in my opinion. Happy day, everyone! <3

  1. Hello - Thanks for the pictures! I Just got a first edition and want to know if there are also 4 man/women cards in the second edition.
I prefer the tower, ring and star of the 2end edition.... :)

  2. I've found another difference! On my card 22 'The Road' stands the signpost next the road and not in the middle of it...! I saw that on a 1st edition card on the internet (Rozamira's webalbum)
